Join us in our Spring series of FREE classes and meditations.

In this class, Tim McGee will teach and guide;

  • Qigong warm up exercise (read about qigong below)
  • 20 minute guided meditation- Organ Smile Meditation
  • Qigong self massage techniques
  • Final brief relaxation meditation to see how deep we can go (bring something to lie down on if you want and get ready for a good night’s sleep)


This class is suitable for all skill levels and is focused on techniques that will help you release stress. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a mat if you want to lie down.

We will go over the basics of meditation, breathing, self care, and seasonal health. Specifically, we will go over effective ways to remove stress hormones from your body.

Learn these tools to enhance and develop your own self care and meditation techniques.

This time of year marks the ending of winter and beginning of spring. We will discuss teachings that come from traditional wisdom on how to best harness the energies of this season.

Who is Tim McGee?
Tim is the co-owner and clinical director of Acacia Natural Health. He has been practicing and studying meditation, yoga, and qi gong for over 20 years. He is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist in Washington State where he lives with his wife and two sons.

What is qigong?
Qigong is the practice and development your own focus, energy, and health. For thousands of years different systems and exercises have been developed and utilized by millions of people as a way to take care of their minds, hearts, spirits, and bodies. These ancient techniques are simple, powerful, and very deep. Exercises involve breathing techniques, simple movements, and ways to focus and calm the mind.

Qi gong is often used to decrease anxiety, stress, depression, insomnia, blood pressure issues, heart palpitations, pain, fatigue, and most symptoms of disharmony in the body. It can also be part of a wellness practice that will likely increase strength, focus, mental clarity, and self awareness.
