Who is Tim McGee?
Tim is the co-owner and clinical director of Acacia Natural Health. He has been practicing and studying meditation, yoga, and qi gong for over 20 years. He is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist in Washington State where he lives with his wife and two sons.
What is qi gong?
Qi gong means the practice and development your own focus, energy, and health. For thousands of years different systems and exercises have been developed and utilized by millions of people as a way to take care of their minds, hearts, spirits, and bodies. These ancient techniques are simple, powerful, and very deep. Exercises involve breathing techniques, simple movements, and ways to focus and calm the mind.
Qi gong is often used to decrease anxiety, stress, depression, insomnia, blood pressure issues, heart palpitations, pain, fatigue, and most symptoms of disharmony in the body. It can also be part of a wellness practice that will likely increase strength, focus, mental clarity, and self awareness.
